STEPCRAFT 3D printer

All of the STEPCRAFT range of machines can be used with the 3D printer system. The 3D printer module can be loaded directly into the 43mm mounting collar of the machine. The STEPCRAFT 3D printer uses an extruding system that supports 1.75mm PLA, ABS or HIPS plastic filament through a heated nozzle. The machine moves in X Y and Z while extruding the plastic to make a layer before moving to the next layer. The special Gcode files for layered 3D printing are generated in the STEPCRAFT slicr software provided with the 3D printer system. You will need the 3D printer module as shown here, some plastic filament, and a Gcode based controller (like the UCCNC we offer with the STEPCRAFT machines.
